PORTFOLIO BLUEPRINT & MENTORING

Build a UX portfolio that gets interviews in 30 days

No more overthinking what to include and how to best communicate your skills

First, let’s check if Portfolio Blueprint & Mentoring is for you

  • 👉🏽 1. Are you stuck before you’ve even started?

You’ve opened your file a dozen times but can’t get past the first line. Should you list everything? Be detailed? How to start? You keep thinking “why is it so hard to write about a project you did?”.

Everyone has a different opinion, and the pressure to “get it right” makes it even harder to begin.

👉🏽 2. Are you piecing together your portfolio from other people’s work?

You’ve watched YouTube videos, browsed portfolios, and followed templates... but nothing really fits your project.

You look for what portfolios have in common but end up copying without understanding why. And the best portfolios are often impossible to find, so you don’t even know if you’re copying good examples.

👉🏽 3. Do you have something written, but deep down, it doesn’t feel strong?
You’ve built a case study with your current knowledge, you’re not sure why you made certain design decisions or how to talk about them.

You know your portfolio should showcase your skills, but it just feels like you're simply listing what you did.

👉🏽 4. Are you stuck in a loop or overthinking and second-guessing?

You’ve spent week (or months) on your portfolio, but keep getting stuck. There’s so much to say, and you don’t know what to keep or cut worried you might miss something important out and ruin your chances!

✅ If you saw yourself in any of these, you’re in the right place.

  • 🎯 You’re already getting interview invites from your portfolio
If your case studies are doing their job and helping you land interviews consistently, you don’t need this program.

⚡️ You’re looking for a quick fix or magic formula
There’s no shortcut to building a strong case study. This isn’t about hacks, it’s about thoughtful, focused work. If someone promises instant results, be cautious.

🔮 You want a guaranteed job offer
No one can guarantee that. Too many factors, like internal hiring decisions and your actions play a role. But I can guarantee you’ll get the tools, support, and guidance that have worked for me and the designers I’ve coached over the past two years.

📚 You’re still studying or haven’t worked on real-world projects yet
This program is built around helping you tell the story of actual, hands-on work. If you’re brand new to design with no project experience, it’s probably too soon. This is for designers with at-least 2+ years experience.

You’re not able to set aside even a small amount of focused time each week
You don’t need loads of free time, but you will need to carve out a couple of hours every few days to make steady progress

10 portfolio struggles I’ve seen after mentoring 100+ designers:

1. My projects feel messy and out of order:
It’s hard to present your work clearly when the way you did things doesn’t feel linear or structured.

2. I’m overwhelmed with too much information:
Often our projects are weeks or months long, so it’s difficult to shrink them down without losing the value or important details.

3. My project doesn’t feel good enough
You keep comparing it to others and wondering if it deserves to be in your portfolio.

4. I’m stuck in perfectionism, so I don’t finish
I keep tweaking and second-guessing, and nothing ever feels good enough

5. I don’t know how to pick which project to include
You’re unsure which shows your skills best or will impress companies and hiring managers.

6. I don’t know how to structure my case study
You have all the pieces but you’re unsure how to lay them out to clearly guide someone through the story.

7. I don’t know what to include or leave out
You're afraid of adding too much or not enough. You don’t know what is important.

8. My case study feels flat or boring
You’re unsure how to make it sound engaging or memorable, so it stands out.

9. I don’t have hard data to prove success
You're unsure how to show impact without metrics or analytics.

10. I don’t know how to make my portfolio scannable, but detailed
You want to include important info, but worry it’s too long or cluttered.

In Portfolio Blueprint & Mentoring, we’ll tackle these one by one - together!

3 mistakes designers make when creating their portfolios…

⛔️ Designers trying to present their work chronologically, following the exact sequence of events from their project

Real projects are rarely linear. When you follow the messiness of the real process, your story can become confusing and hard to follow. It’s difficult for hiring managers to see your thinking.

✅ Instead, you need to treat your case study like a story. Restructure it so it flows logically, highlighting your problem-solving in a way that makes sense to the reader, not just in the order it happened.

⛔️ Designers think they need to include everything that happened with all the details

This overwhelms the reader and buries your strongest moments, such as key decisions or design reasoning, under irrelevant details, making it harder to scan your content.

✅ Instead, you need to focus on what showcases your thinking, problem-solving, and outcomes. Prioritize decision making and impact over completeness.

⛔️ Designers try to copy other portfolios and formats that don’t fit their project.

This comparison trap leads to second-guessing and perfectionism. You tweak endlessly, unsure of what’s “right,” and struggle to finish your portfolio.

✅ Instead, you need to build a case study that fits your project and process. Focus on telling a clear story around what you did, not matching someone else’s structure.

1) Flagship Program
Structuring Your Project into a Clear Story

“I have no idea where to start! What do I write.. and how do I write it?”

You’ve got the pieces for your project but don’t know how to organise it or explain what you did in a way that sells you!

Get a personalised structure to follow for your project, even if it didn’t follow a logical path. So hiring managers can follow easily!

I’ll help you move beyond 'I did this, then that', you’ll learn how to show the value you added and how it helped the project!

You’ll get:

✅ Writing Structure Formula: Know exactly what to write in each section. No more overthinking.
✅ Plug and play templates: No more starting from scratch, simply add in your content to the templates.
✅ AI prompts: Write your content faster and with more clarity.
✅ Video Masterclass: So you can understand how to talk about your thinking and impact, not just list generic tasks like “I did wireframes.”

2) Mini Course
Storytelling that hooks hiring managers

Most portfolios read like a checklist, and you probably feel the same way about yours. You followed a template, filled in the sections, but now it sounds boring as you’re just documenting what you did.

In this course you’ll be able to turn ‘boring projects’ into engaging stories that hiring managers will actually want to keep reading.

You’ll get:

✅ First Line Hook Builder
: Grab attention from the first scroll, so they don’t skip your work.
✅ Broken Stories Masterclass: Fix disjointed projects and make your story actually flow.
✅ Storytelling Framework: Understand the theory behind storytelling and use the frameworks to apply to your project.
✅ Story Templates: Plug your words into a structure that makes your story more engaging and clear

3) Masterclass
Making your content scannable (without losing what matters)

You’ve written a lot because you want to show your thinking and the depth behind your work. But now your case study feels long and overwhelming.

In this masterclass, you’ll learn how to structure your content so it’s quick to skim, while still highlighting the reasoning and value behind your decisions.

Even if someone only reads part of it, they’ll walk away with the most important points.

You’ll get:

✅ Writing prompts:
Learn how to structure and phrase your content so it’s easy to skim, but still strong.
✅ 1000 words imagine training: Use visuals to actually say something, not just decorate.
✅ Chapters Framework: Know what hiring managers are looking for, and how to make sure they see it right away.

4) Design Training
Final Design Mastery: Show the Thinking Behind Your UI

"I don’t know how to explain why I designed things the way I did, it just feels like I’m describing the final screen."

You have a polished design, but when you explain it, it just sounds like a list of UI changes.

This training helps you move beyond describing visuals and focus on how your design solves user problems.

Great design isn’t just about looks, it’s about solving the right problems. If you can’t explain that clearly, hiring managers won’t see the value in your work.

You’ll get:

The Pitch Cube Framework: 6 key prompts to explain the thinking behind each design decision clearly and confidently
✅ User Needs Communication Model: Learn how to link your design back to real user needs and problems, not just surface-level features
✅ Final Design Canvas: Pull out the strongest parts of your solution and present them with clarity
FigJam Templates: Use these to visually show your design impact, even without perfect data

FAQs

These are the most common things people ask or quietly wonder before joining.

  • It’s a bit of both.

You’ll get access to self-paced video trainings and tasks you can complete on your own schedule.

But you’ll also get access to a live workshop with other members, plus 1:1 mentoring with me during the office hours. So you’re never left to figure things out completely alone.

  • I’d love to run this program again, but I can’t promise when.

After this round, I’ll be looking for my next product design role, so I’m not sure when I’ll have the time to run another live round.

  • There are 13 core tasks in total. The time it takes to complete them range from 15–45 minutes. The video trainings across the month total to approximately 4 hours.

You don’t need to do every task, some are optional depending on your project.

You’ll also have the option to book 15-minute office hour sessions with me whenever you need quick, focused feedback.

  • Potentially, but it’ll probably take a lot longer and feel a lot more confusing.

Most free resources are generic and don’t account for your unique project. Plus, many are written by designers with limited experience (and it shows).

Whereas this system I’ve used to land roles over the past 6 years, and my learnings as a hiring manager for 4 years.

The frameworks I’ve developed have been tried, tested, and refined with over 50 designers I’ve mentored through 1:1s, workshops, and programs over the last two years (don’t take my word for it, be sure to read the testimonials).

  • Yes, especially if you feel like it’s not quite landing.

This isn’t like a surface-level portfolio review where I suggest changing a few words or images. We go deeper and build your design story from the ground up, filling in missing pieces and sharpening what’s already there.

  • You’ll get lifetime access. Once you’re in, you’re in.

    P.S.

I regularly invite alumni to future workshops for free whenever there is space!

  • That’s actually pretty common.

One designer in the last round had big gaps, and using the templates and some mentoring, they still built a strong case study.

If you’re missing assets or unsure what to include, we’ll figure it out together in office hours.

  • This program is best suited for designers who have at least one real project they want to turn into a case study. If you’re still learning the basics or haven’t done any real-world work yet, I’d recommend a different course first.

  • You can still build a case study.

We can talk through your specific NDA during office hours, there are multiple ways to show your process and skills while staying within the rules.

We’ll figure out a workaround that makes sense for your situation.

Refund Policy

Because I know sometimes it’s hard to be sure when taking a step to change your circumstances...

I’m offering a 100% risk-free return policy to make this decision less scary.

So that means you can sign up today, and if you don’t like the program for ANY reason, if you don’t like the sound of my voice, or if you don’t like my background, you can ask for your money back in the next seven days.

This is as long as you haven’t booked an office hours session or a 1:1 interview.

These calls are where I dedicate my personal time to support you directly, so once they’re booked, I can’t offer a refund. If you haven’t used them yet and feel the program isn’t a good fit, reach out within 7 days, and I’ll be happy to refund you, no hard feelings.
